Heute scheint wohl Tag der Patches zu sein. Valve bringt ein weiteres Update raus, diesmal für Counter-Strike Global Offensive. Das Winter Offensive getaufte Update bringt unter anderem die aus den Vorgängern beliebte Map de_cbble, sowie de_overpass in angepassten Versionen. Beide Maps sind im Matchmaking vorerst nur für Besitzer eines Operation Bravo Passes verfügbar. Auf Community Servern und in Offline Matches stehen sie aber bereits jetzt schon jedem zum Spielen bereit.
Zusätzlich wurden Änderungen an den Boxen für Waffenskins eingeführt, sowie Geschenkboxen eingefügt.
The Winter Offensive Update is shipping with three types of gifts for the giving: the Gift Package, which will give a random item to one random player in your match; the Pallet of Presents, which will give random items to up to nine people in your match; and the Audience Participation Parcel, which will give random items to up to 25 viewers watching your match.

- Added a link to share downloaded matches. To access this link, download one of your recent matches, view the scoreboard from that match, and click on ‚Copy Link.‘
- Added say_team support for coaches.
- Added holiday cheer.
[ CS:GO SDK ]
- Fixed a Steam authentication problem when running individual CS:GO SDK tools not from Steam Library, but directly from command line.
- Fixed a bug causing workshop uploader tools to retrieve only the first 50 of a user’s items.
